Zaplai had the personality and the food for a strong social presence but no channel to express it and no concept to build around. The website was the foundation. The real opportunity was in social media: finding the angle that would make the venue stand out and bring in new regulars consistently.

What we built.
Zaplai is a Thai fusion restaurant we have been working with on both their website and social media. The website was built on WordPress: three pages covering the menu, catering, and contact, with five SEO-optimised blog posts, GA4, and Search Console set up from launch. The social media work is where the story really is. We brought them new customers consistently through content that actually captured the personality of the venue. One example that stood out: we spotted the taco tuesday trend taking hold in Adelaide and recognised that Zaplai's fusion menu, Thai flavours and street food energy, was a natural fit. We brought the idea to the owners, worked with influencers to seed the concept, and helped them launch their own spin on Taco Tuesdays with a Thai fusion twist. The result was remarkable. Tuesday nights went from their quietest night of the week to outperforming their Friday and Saturday service. New regulars who came in for Taco Tuesday kept coming back throughout the week. This is what social media management looks like when it is done properly: not just posting content on schedule, but actively thinking about what can move the business forward.

Taco Tuesdays went from a concept to the busiest night of the week. What had been a quiet Tuesday service started outperforming Friday and Saturday consistently. Social media management and influencer partnerships drove the awareness. The product, a Thai fusion take on a trend the market was ready for, did the rest.
